India-Bangladesh joint SOP to counter fake currency notes, says report: India and Bangladesh have agreed to draft a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to counter the growing menace of fake currency notes, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) said on August 20. The decision was taken during the second meeting of the Joint Task Force on Fake Currency Notes between India and Bangladesh held in Dhaka (Bangladesh) on August 12-13.
